Mushishi

Mushishi is one of my all time favourite Animes.
It's story is so unique you won't find anything quite like it.

Each episode is a story in itself, with Ginko, the main character and Mushi master. The Mushi being tiny creatures with supernatural powers which sometimes effect humans and the world around them. Ginko being one of them and later on in the series explains his unnatural hair colour and one green eye.

Ginko travels far and wide in search of all kinds of Mushi.

This Anime, not so popular but extremely good and a high rating it deserves. It even won some awards!

The art style in this is also quite different. Adapted mostly from its Manga counterpart.

Go watch it if you want a change.. non-violent and amusing at all times. Sure enough you will love Ginko and Mushishi just as i did! :)

Ergo Proxy

This Anime took a while to get into the story but once it was there it's just amazing.

The story begins in the city of Romdeau, a city built to withstand the disaster that happened years ago. With android servants for every human, a strange virus occurs giving the so-called AutoRaives' souls.
Re-L and Vincent two of the main characters uncover the cause of the virus and the mystery of Ergo Proxy (a mysterious humanoid life form). It's all connected somehow..

But there is more than just a subtle mystery going on... more info.

The story, the characters and the environment all play part in making this a truly unique Anime. With a few scary instances too! Stop reading this and go watch it!! :)

For 23 episodes long and a spectacular ending... it has to be one of my favourites.

Detroit Metal City

This has to be one of my favourites! It's so funny and so amazing at the same time.

Negishi wanted to be in a pop band but ended up becoming the front man, Krauser, of DMC.
The story rotates around him hating being part of the band, but secretly loving being Krauser and some fantastic concerts and show-downs.

Any metal fan will enjoy this and being a metal and anime fan myself this has to rank on my top 10! It made me laugh so much!

I recommend this one highly!

Also there is a live action film of it which i will definitely watch.

-------------------------------------------

A few hours later... after watching the film...

Noooo... as usual, story been ruined... and as usual this doesn't even come close to the epicness of the Anime. A few laughs maybe...
Don't expect the live action movie of any Anime to be better cuz believe me... it never is!

New Stuff!

So today i decided to give One Piece a shot, just to see what all the fuss was about.

To me, after just one episode.. i disagree with the hype.. yea, its a pretty decent Anime but it does not even reach the hight of the amazing ones out there today.

Just like Pokemon, Naruto and Bleach... it's giving the message "lets all follow the sheep" the hype outdoes the story in my opinion. Now you may disagree with me and lets face it, i hope you are individual! but i'm not quite sucked into this. Maybe in the distant future i might watch the rest but for now i'm sticking to the good stuff.

New to my library this month!

Detroit Metal City

Being a metal fan myself i think this might just be awesome!

GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka

I have heard a lot of good things about this one and i'm looking forward to watching it.

It's a comedy, so a bit different for me. :3

Vampire Knight Season 2 (aka Guilty)

After watching Gantz, again, i decided i would finish Vampire Knight once and for all!

The story continues after the occurrences of the first season, not to spoil anything for the new comers to this series... so i won't go any further.

The ending really did give this Anime a finally it deserved. With a few unexpected twists, that even i didn't see coming. I loved it nonetheless!

In other news...

I am continuing Ergo Proxy and Mushishi, hoping to finish these two by next week.

Oh and the first person to follow me gets a cookie! :3
