A Year Away...

Hey, remember me?.... Probably not. I've been regretting not writing on here and solely focusing on my YouTube channel (which didn't take off :(.....).. and i'm sorry. I just realised the blog hit over 10k views and that's awesome! ...No, you're awesome for visiting! Thank you! :)

I know it's half way into the summer season but i will tell you my personal recommendations, if you haven't started them yet.. :

Mob Psycho

If you liked One Punch Man then you will surely like this one. Amazing animation artwork and crazy effects.

Haven't seen One Punch? Watch it. It's hilarious and awesome, one of my favourites.

8/10

Danganronpa 3: Mirai-hen

FURURE ARC

I must stress that you have to watch the first anime way before these. Also Danganronpa 2 the game is a must! Otherwise it is really confusing.

Really enjoyed the first anime, even though a lot didn't. They obviously can't put all the details in a 12 episode anime, keep that in mind.

Love it though: 7-8/10

Danganronpa 3: Zetsubou-hen

DESPAIR ARC

The prequel to Danganronpa 2 the game. Watching this along side Mirai works really well as a lot of episodes complement each other (backstories and such).

(SPOILERS)
I prefer this one slightly more to Mirai mainly because the Despair queen herself is still raining madness. The characters are more lovable and it really lives up to the oncoming game.

9/10

..That's pretty much it. I did give a handful of others a go but got bored VERY quickly. My standards are much higher for anime these days.

A few things you should check out:

Boruto the Movie : After finishing the manga this year (Naruto) i finally got time to see this and it's brillaint!

Nanatsu no Taizai (Seven Deadly Sins): I put this off at the time of airing and i regret that... This anime is pretty damn enjoyable. Half way through at the moment but i'm really lovin it.

Assassination Classroom (S2): So good! Better than the 1st season and really wraps up everything well <3.

Uchuu Patrol Luluco: TRIGGER. They are the masters of Anime. Seriously this is an amazing little short series. Featuring some main characters from thier other stuff too... I won't spoil it... go watch!

ReLife: Interesting anime about a guy who gets to relive one year of highschool again. Trust me.

Ajin: Immortals. Has CGI animation. A warning to those that hate that. (Not me)

Sakamoto desu ga?: Really funny.

Howl's Moving Castle: Who hasn't watched this?!. My favourite Ghibli by far and possibly anime movie ever.

Arigato minna! <3

Summer, summer... (Also, 3 years!!)

Hishashiburi, minna... if you're still out there... 'Tis been a hot and tedious season, not talking about the anime. Anyway, here are my recommendations for this years summer!

Gangsta

Best anime of the season so far, in my opinion... it's gory, lot's of blood, an interesting story and keeps you interested throughout each episode. I won't spoil too much. :D

9-10/10.

Prison School

Hilarious. Not something i'd usually go for but i've really enjoyed all the episodes so far.
If you like loads of boobs, crude humor and ridiculous situations then this is the anime for you!

7-8/10
 Gakkou Gurashi!

This one surprised me the most. Starting off as a normal slice of life anime turned into a zombie filled, pretty hectic and psychologically damaging amazing anime!! Love it very much...

8-9/10

Ranpo Kitan

Your standard detective/mystery anime but with a slight crazed serial killer and MC in the midst. I quite like it.

7/10

God Eater

Still not really sure about this one. Yes the animation is brilliant but the story really needs working on. So far it's quite similar to Attack on Titan, which don't get me wrong is a decent enough anime, it's just nothing special these days.

6-7/10

Also, you HAVE to watch the new Psycho-Pass movie and the last Mushishi episode(s).
Can't say it's the longest list but these few anime have kept my interest ^^. I'm focusing at the moment in finishing some older anime and preparing for an awesome autumn/fall season.. lots to see.
'Till then, arigato minna san :3

Spring! (2015)

I'm getting lazy....With an awesome winter season of quite a few memorable anime we glide into spring! There aren't as many good ones for my tastes. Yes indeed if you love Gintama, Highschool DxD and lots of Loli rom-com types then there are loads of new series.
Anyway, i have picked out these few and the ones i've seen so far are really promising.

Owari no Seraph (Seraph of the End)

The first episode was pretty damn good. At first it kinda put me off. Vampires, teenagers and stuff... not my thing. Boy was i wrong! This ain't no ordinary anime. Worth all my and your time :)

Kekkai Sensen

Another vampire/moster-ish anime and another i was totally wrong about. This has the world of Gintama mixed with more gore and strangeness.... no comedy here.
Gonna stick with it for now.

Uta no Prince Revolutions

I'm rather guilty in liking reverse harem type animes, i'm sure every otaku girl is!
And this one happens to be my favourite....
With three seasons now surely this can't get old.

Punch Line

This one looked pretty cool. Boys soul separated from his body with comedy and a dash of ecchi thrown in, works for me. It reminded me of Kill la Kill in a way (even tho it's not made by Trigger).
Coming out this weekend i shall be glued to my seat.

Edit: dropped, to much silly conversation and too much pantsu :/

Sidonia no Kishi: Daikyuu Wakusei Seneki

Last year Sidonia no Kishi (Knights of Sidonia) really blew some fish out of the water. It was totally amazing! Completely different with it's cool 3d animation effects and horrifying monsters. I don't think i've loved a mecha anime like this before...

Cannot wait!!! Hurry up weekend! :3

Ninja Slayer

Last of all we have the awesome looking Ninja Slayer! Made by the great Trigger. I don't care how many oppai or how ecchi this is, i'm gonna gad damn watch it! :D Too cool looking to skip methinks.

Releasing on 16/4.

Edit: Poor quality animation, it's like mostly 2d paper stuff...really hasn't peaked my interest. Dropped.

Also this season as i mentioned are:

Gintama Season 3
Highschool DxD
Arslon Senki (medievil style, like Akane ga Kill & Claymore)
... and a TON of rom-coms >.<

Bye-Bye minna!

New year, New animu!

Happy New year minna! (a bit late i know)
This year started off great, specially with some really good anime starting.
Not so for me.... this week has been awful. My jaw has clamped shut, a possible dislocation, i don't recommend that... painful as heck! If you have experienced anything like that i feels for you :(

Anyway.... you should really check out these few anime that have really caught my eye!

Death Parade

All i can say is holy crap this is amazing! Seriously.
It is actually based of an anime mirrai, Death Billiards, so i suggest you watch that before starting this!

10/10 undoubtedly. This is a must watch.

Shame it will only have 12 episodes though.

Assassination Classroom

Tentacles: check.
I was really excited about this and after the first episode i'm rather conflicted. This anime can go two ways, fliping fantastic and brilliant like it's manga counter part or... well you can guess... let's not mention Terra Formars.

I do like Koro-sensei's voice though... good choice.

?/10 not sure yet

Kuroko no Basket 3

Time to see how good Akashi is! I'm hoping they whoop his ass like all the others :p.

The first episode was damn good.... i really wanna play basketball right now :3.

9/10

Kiseijuu (Parasyte)

I have absolutely no negative comments about this.

It is perfect in every way. Spot on story from the manga, NO censoring and Migi is awesome :D.

If you enjoy anything by Madhouse then you will love this one 100%.

10/10

Tokyo Ghoul 2

Tokyo Ghoul is the hype of hypes these days. The 1st season was pretty good i agree but not mindblowing. Sorry to all the people who disagree but to me the second season hasn't quite pulled it out the bag yet. Yes, i will still watch it but as some anime go... Kaneki will be overpowered now.

7-8/10

And a few amazing anime from the past:

Cowboy Bebop

All true anime fans know this one and love it to bits.
Not maybe anime make me cry and feel many emotions at once but this one is a gem.

I love Ein he is so cute <3

Watch it if you haven't!
10/10

See you space cowboy...

Trigun

The infamous Vash the Stampede! I picked this randomly after a long and boring day... i then couldn't stop!

Desert planet cowboys. immortal beings and  lots of shooting... it's a crazy yet enjoyable anime!

If you liked Cowboy Bebop then you will love this too!

10/10

That's all from me :D Arigato Minna!

New Season, New Anime!

And so we're in autumn!
I've been focusing too much on my YouTube channel and i should be here with you guys! :D

It's finally October, my favourite month of the year. Halloween, new games (Alien:Isolation, gad damn it's awesomeness :3) and new anime!

I have found one of the best animes out there.. seriously, if you haven't watched this you are missing out!

HUNTER x HUNTER (2011)

I must say this anime has totally changed my life. It has the perfect setting, characters, story... everything!
It is not that well known though, which is madness. How could people miss this?

It only ended a few weeks ago with 148 episodes. I'm only half way through it but i had to spread the word.

If you like anime with tension, funniness, lots of fights, the odd sad bit and lots of whoop-ass then go watch it!

It has 9/10 score for a reason you know! ;)

I flipping love Hisoka <3... so smexy.

I also recently started watching:

Kuroko no Basket

I don't normally watch sports Anime but after Free i decided to be more open minded. So i stumbled upon this one...

It's really quite awesome!

Totally worth the watch and i will be looking out for more.

As for this season my personal choices:

Kiseijuu (Parasyte)

I own all the manga volumes of this since last year and flipping loved it.

When i heard there was gunna be an anime adaption of it i literally flew of my seat screaming with joy (an oversight but go read for yourselves).
Yesterday the very first episode aired and it was amazing!

The only things that shouldn't of changed were Shinichi's glasses (wtf he didn't need them, nor did have any) Murano's hair and Migi's voice. Ok i get they had to modernize it but the graphics are just plain everyday anime nothing special like they should be.

Anyway... i still love it and i cannot wait for the next episode!

Log Horizon II

It's back! I really enjoyed Log Horizon. It was simple yet enjoyable and would really work as a real MMORPG :P

I suggest if you haven't watched the first season you should. Also if you enjoyed SAO, hack/sign or btoom! then you will defo enjoy this one.

Let's just hope it lives up to the first season. :3

Psycho Pass II

Now if you've read my blog you will know that Psycho Pass is in my top 10 and for a very good reason too.

The first season blew me away. It's everything you'd want in a mystery/detective/sci fi futuristic anime.

With Makishima out of the picture and Kogami missing i wonder if this will be just as good if not better....

Episode 1 proved it still can be bloody awesome.

Terra Formars

Now i read the description of this and it intimidately went on my list.
Mutant humanoid cockroaches vs mankind.. on Mars?!?! Holy cow now that is something different.

The OVA came first and it was pretty decent but then came the Anime. Now a lot of people have been rating this quite badly... personally i give an Anime between 3-5 episodes before giving it a score. Who knows it could change and i really hope so too.

Also this autumn is:

Mushishi Zoku Shou II

Mushishi was one of my first Anime so it's always been rather special to me.

Zoku Shou was aired around spring time and it really delivered so i'm hoping this will be a fitting end to it.

Airing: 19th of October.

Some other interesting finds:

Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (Assassination Classroom)

I really like the concept of this one, i read a bit of the manga too and i think it's special.

Airing next year in January i really hope this one pulls it out the bag!

Really looking forward to seeing Koro-sensei :p

Naruto Shippuden Movie 7

Since the manga is finishing in a few weeks and you know how i love Naruto i though this deserved a mention.

I really hope it will be a fitting end to the series!

With everyone fully grown up and hopefully an amazing story too...

Feels like i've been writing for ages :3 I do hope you have enjoyed my post. Arigato minna san!

Something Special (2 year anniversary!!)

It's a few days early but this is rather special for me. Partially for the two year anniversary of this blog and partly because i have finally created my very own youtube gaming channel.

I've been avidly watching PewDiePie, Markiplier and JackSepticEye for months now, they have given me that extra boost of confidence per say. :)

If you love games like i do you should check out my channel: MegStatic

As for Anime, i think i have covered this season. Although, new surprises keep popping up.

If you are looking for a good site which lists Anime per season then you should look at this:

AniChart

I want to say thank you to all the people who have come across my blog, also those who found it helpful ^^
Oh and here is a special wallpaper i made yesterday for all the Grell fan-girls like myself! :3

Summer Breeze

I hate summer in this country. Too damn hot!

This spring season one Anime in particular stood out. If you haven't watched it yet, you might as well.

Sidonia no Kishi (Knights of Sidonia)

This is the best mecha Anime i have ever watched (close call with Blue Gender). The art is totally different, all in a 3D style, quite amazing really.

It's so good that it's been renewed for a second season :).

Very similar to Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) plot wise. Even for a non-mech fan like myself this Anime just blew me away.

More info here.

As for this season, so far a favourite and definitely good looking horror Anime:

Tokyo Ghoul

Now it's been a while since i've seen a good horror Anime and this one looks quite promising. Only started yesterday!

Just my kinda thing :3.

It has a similar feel to Deadman Wonderland, the blood powers. Also it stood out with cannibalism, which doesn't appear much in Anime.

Check it out.

Honorable mention, something i plan on watching which has major hype:

Akame ga Kill!

Sword wielding assassins?? Sounds pretty cool to me. :>

I wasn't planning to watch this one to be honest but with all the hype you think to yourself 'am i going to miss something amazing?'. Then again sadly i made that mistake with Medakucity Actors (a big waste of time, for someone with my tastes).

More about this here.

EDIT: Nope... just nope.

Finally, some other Anime i will be watching this bloody hot summer:

Free! II (appropriate i think :p)
Sword Art Online II
Kuroshitsuji: Book of Circus (as you well know one of my favs)

Matanee minna-san! :)

Essential Anime Torrent Sites

I hate watching Anime online.. unless i have to. There are so many groups that do subtitles/rips these days it's hard to find a decent one. I hope i can help some of you :)

Anyway, so here are my recommendations for best Anime (torrent) sites:

1. DeadFish

Best quality subs they take from other people but they make it tidy so to speak. A release might be a few hours/days late but trust me it's worth it! Everything from short series, OVAs, specials and even movies.

2. Nyaa

For a site it has all releases from all subbers including the RAWs and foreign languages. It even has manga, pics and lots more content. It's basically a huge database full of Anime.

3. HorribleSubs

Yes, quite a few people complain about this site... they don't sub they only rip from crunchyroll  etc. remember that. The subs sometimes are not high standard but if you are looking for a quick on-time release this is for you.

4. BakaBT

And finally this one. The only problem here is if you don't seed they ban you -.-. But they have such a huge collection it is a great site. Also similar to Nyaa.

That was my selection of Anime torrent sites :3 use them well!
